GEORGE PIERCE PARK
George Pierce Park is the largest city park in Suwanee, Georgia. It is a 304-acre park near the northern edge of the city. 
Included in the park are jogging and cycling paths, playgrounds, basketball courts, soccer fields, baseball fields, a pond and a senior learning center. The park contains large areas of wetlands, but is primarily known for its many recreation and athletic facilities. The park houses a playground, five soccer fields, a football field, seven youth baseball/softball fields, two adult softball fields, concession/restroom building, three pavilions, a paved walking trail, and a mulch footpath.
Suwanee Town Center Park
Suwanee’s built-from-scratch Town Center is the physical and symbolic heart of our community. Opened in December 2003, Town Center Park functions as Suwanee’s “front yard” and primary gathering place. Its classic and attractive design, which features three interlinking walkways, the largest interactive fountain in Gwinnett County, large open areas, and a performance stage with a 1,000-seat terraced amphitheater area, make Town Center Park ideal for community gatherings.
People from throughout metro Atlanta have come to the park to catch musical performances by regional and national favorites. Town Center Park has successfully hosted intimate events for only a few hundred, as well as rock concerts with nearly 15,000 in attendance. Suwanee Fest – our annual celebration of community – brings approximately 40,000 people to the park the third weekend in September each year.
The award-winning Town Center is a public-private partnership that envelopes more than 63 acres, including a 40-acre privately developed traditional neighborhood (Shadowbrook at Town Center). Town Center currently encompasses more than 100,000 square feet of retail space, 87,000 square feet of office space, 147 townhome and condominium units, 85 single-family homes, and the 10-acre Town Center Park. It is also home to Suwanee’s iconic City Hall, which opened in February 2009.

Suwanee Creek Park
Shaded park with disc golf & trails. The Suwanee Creek Greenway is also accessible from Suwanee Creek Park. It is a 6.0-mile multi-use trail in Suwanee, Georgia. The trail is a hard-surface and meanders through four miles of wooded areas, wetlands, and wildlife habitat. The greenway connects nearly 400 acres of parkland as well as residential and commercial areas. On February 27, 2018, the greenway was designated as one of the signature trails of Gwinnett County.
The Suwanee Creek Greenway
The Suwanee Greenway is one of Gwinnett County’s most popular running, walking, and cycling trails. Traveling over pavement and boardwalks, it stretches more than three miles with only a single road crossing, exploring wildlife-filled wetlands and scenic hardwood forests. And it’s pretty much our favorite paved long-distance running trail in metro Atlanta.
The greenway’s surface alternates between wide, paved trails and extended boardwalks, running through a grassy, amphibian-filled marshland home to many frogs, turtles, fish, and waterfowl. And the greenway’s multiple trailheads provide easy access and varied route lengths, making the trail equally perfect for a long run or quick early-morning workout.
Sims Lake Park
Featuring a 7-acre lake, this park offers a looping trail, playground, open meadows & picnic spots. Sims Lake is comprised of 62 
acres and is at the junction of Suwanee Dam and Tench Road. In addition to the 7-acre lake, Sims Lake Park features a 1.2 mile looping trail, well-fed streamscape, playground area, picnic pavilion, and 2-acre play meadows. The park also has public restrooms and parking for 90 vehicles.
Sims Lake Park Trail is a 1.2 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Suwanee, Georgia that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, trail running, and road biking and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on a leash.
The multi-use hard trail primarily provides 2 distance options. The route around the lake is 0.7 mile and by extending the route into the adjoining woods, one can increase the loop to 1.2 miles . The route along the lake passes by a garden pool with waterfall, metal artwork, and a flagstoned landing with cascading streamscape. The trail is ideal for runners, cyclists, dog walkers, seniors, families with strollers, and anyone starting a fitness program.
Settles Bridge Park
Recreation site on 268 acres, with skate center, dog park, basketball courts & 1.6-mile paved trail. Settles Bridge Park Extended
Loop Trail is a 2.4 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Suwanee, Georgia that features a river and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash. Dogs are welcome to run off-leash at this dog park located at Settles Bridge Park.
Settles Bridge Dog Park has three separate fenced areas for small dogs, large dogs, and a long dog run. Water, agility equipment, and covered benches are provided. Settles Bridge Park also has several paved and unpaved trails for leashed walks. The park is open daily from dawn until dusk.
